East 8th Street and South Boston Avenue looking north. Shows DX Service Station and Cities Service Station, the Masonic Building (now Bernsen Center), Ike's Chili Parlor, Massey Building, Thompson Building, Philtower, National Bank of Tulsa, and the ONG Building (on the National Register of Historic Places). All of the taller buildings had beacons and spires on top for dirigible landings. The Masonic Building was used for many gatherings hosted by 5 Tulsa Lodges, and was sold to the First Presbyterian Church when the cost of maintaining the building became too prohibitive. Down the street, you can see Al Musick's Drugs.
